What a month!

OK, I'm having a cracking month.

I tell my wife that when our 3 year old family XP PC dies I would like a Mac next.....

A week later, the old family PC dies, fried graphics card et al.......

I get accused of knobbling the PC so I can get my Mac before Christmas....

I borrow a Mac Mini from one of my schools, so at least we have a computer to work on.....

On the day that we break up for a week off work Diane's (wifey) mum is rushed into hospital. She has a burst ulcer and has to have an emergency operation. Very scary time for all the family. On a good note and much to the comendation of the Robsons and Browns, her whole family was at the Hospital that day, all of us. Under different circumstance it would have been quite a party, and maybe on another day it will. Dianes mum is in intensive care at the moment and hopefully a more positive post to follow this one.

Why have I posted these two things together.

Well, one brings the other into context. Diane's Mum put the computer problem into perspective, as in insignificant. But, as soon as Diane got home she was looking on the internet enquiring about her mother condition, which put the hospital back into context.

Me, I hope I am being a good husband, I'm ferrying and fetching. I know I've not been a great Dad under the stress, but this week I might make that up.

Is there any good family movies in the UK this week?

Time to blog

I havn't blogged in a while, so here I am.
Wow another bonfire night gone.
I've started taking my son to the Scouts. While I'm there I'm helping out as well. It's hard fitting all the training in with it.
At work I've been on a Time Management course. Put it to work during the holidays and managed to complete a days work for 2:30 pm. Good job I can flexi.
Got most of the kids stuff sorted for Christmas. Looking forward to it this year. Bought a PICO RC copter to wrap up for me, but it wion't see the paper, just too much fun to play with.
Started another Website for someone at one of my schools, I'll have to add that into my template.

I've had an op.

I've just had my Fundoplication. In fact, I'm writing this blog from the hospital bedside. Normally you can't do this on a hospicom (tm), but I'm using my own mouse and have escaped from their java browser. I got out by downloading an attachment from my mailbox. :)

My op has gone ok, I could be going home soon. Now I have got to eat baby food for a fortnight.

I hope to blog again soon.
